Gary Montgomery began his career in the Vacation Resort Property Business in 1971. Gary worked his way up from an office assistant and bookkeeper for a small resort in Mississippi to a multi-million dollar producing real estate agent specializing in resort property sales on the North Eastern Sea Coast.
In 1980 Gary planned and developed an Interval International affiliated resort located at Abita Springs adjacent to New Orleans. After $20,000,000 in sales Gary sold his ownership and went world-wide with marketing and sales of resort properties.
Gary’s 36 year career in the vacation properties business has allowed him to work and vacation at some of the most beautiful and prestigious resorts in the world.
In 1992, Gary bought the inventory from the developer/owners of Port Largo Villas in Key Largo and the Banyan Resort in Key West. After 5 years of on-site marketing Gary decided to try internet marketing. In 1997 Gary purchased the domain portlargovillas.com and developed this web-site. This idea gave Gary the freedom to market from any place on earth, at any time. Over the last 10 years Gary has been associated with hundreds of real estate projects not only dealing with timeshare but also fractional, whole owner pre-sales of condominiums, golf communities, mountain and lake land parcel development.
In addition to ownership at the above mentioned resorts, Gary NOW has properties and acreage available for good investment opportunities in Tennessee and North Carolina.
